The roof’s main function is to provide top protection against the many forces of nature, such as the rain, the harmful and scorching rays of the sun, snow, and strong winds. This makes the roof one of the most important aspects of any house, but also makes it one of the most prone to damages. Despite this, many homeowners tend to not pay the roof any mind until its damages are glaringly obvious – such as leaks or detached edges. Unbeknownst to many, the roof can hide many flaws that can become much more serious when left unattended.
Because the roof serves as the first line of defense against the harsh conditions of nature, keeping up with its maintenance should be top priority for every homeowner. A well-cared for roof will greatly help in preserving the safety of your household and your home investments.
A simple routine check-up may not be enough to ensure that your roof is at its best state. A roofing professional’s involvement will be of great help as they have the necessary knowledge and expertise not only in spotting hidden damages, but also if the overall structure has something to do with the damages. This will ensure that the need for a total roof replacement can be delayed for as long as possible.

Freehold NJ was formally established by an act of the Legislature on October 31, 1693, one of the three original townships in Monmouth County. The Battle of Monmouth (considered by many as the turning point of the War of Independence) was fought at its doorsteps on June 1778. Every major American military leader of the time participated: George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, Benedict Arnold, Anthony Wayne, Charles Lee, Alexander Hamilton, Nathaniel Greene, Friedrich van Steuben and the non-military Molly Pitcher.
