SIDING AND TRIM REPLACEMENT - Project Description:
This large elegant home was hidden behind a monochrome color scheme, and the styling and architecture couldn't be seen.
New siding, corner board accents, window trims, fascia and soffits, plus a new cultured stone foundation and front entry dramatically changed the appearance and added charm to the home. Now it's an "Arts & Crafts" classic in appearance.
Changes include:
- Cedarway Perfection vinyl shakes in Tumbleweed, maintenance-free vinyl with the look of real cedar, replaces cedar lap siding which required periodic stain application
- Cultured stone enclosure in Owens Corning Old Country Fieldstone in Chardonnay around the expanded two story front entry adds a note of elegance
- Eight foot tall double doors with matching side lights - Precision Entry doors were added to replace the bland doors that were originally at the front entry.
- New crisp white low-maintenance AZEK Trimboards® on the overhangs and fascia accents the siding & stone
- New vinyl soffits in snowy white to emphasize roof overhangs
- New gutter and leader system carries through the 'white-trim' appearance
- The cultured stone was also applied to the foundation where it was exposed in the front of the home.
