Project Description:
This elegant home was stuck in its past, circa when it was built, with a monochrome color scheme and a clumsy entry.
The old portico was removed, and the roof reconstructed and replaced. All County Exteriors designed and constructed a new portico with elegant columns that welcomes guests as it sets off the entry, and adds a note of elegance. Now its elegant classic appearance is complete with a gracious entry and classic color scheme.
Changes include:
- Dated two story portico removed, and replaced with a well-designed, gracefully proportioned portico
- Maintenance free HB&G fiberglass columns flank the graceful entry
- The roof structure was modified and the shingles were replaced with GAF 30 year Timberline® charcoal shingles, also a GAF hooded attic fan was added to ensure cooler summer attic temperatures
- The siding was replaced with Cedarway Perfection vinyl shakes in Pearl Gray
- Snowy white vinyl headings over windows and doors, including the garage door, accent the architecture
- New crisp white maintenance-free Azek Trimboards® trim and accent this elegant portico, which includes white maintenance-free vinyl bead board in the portico ceiling
- The portico finish matches the new beaded vinyl soffits, and carries through to the new gutter and leader system and completes the elegance of the home and professional appearance of this project
